During class we have access to all of the animation studios.
Outside of class hours you MUST reserve the studio you want to use through the KI online equipment and facility checkoutLinks to an external site..
Animation classes have priority use of the studios; class time is not available on the checkout system. If there is a class (non-animation) in session next to animation room 107 please work quietly.
Door codes
100 key lock box 6328
106 key lock box: 0314
107 key lock box: 5381
The door code for 104 is 9012.
DO NOT take the key from the lock box into the room. Leave it in the door or put it back in the box. Otherwise, you risk locking the keys in the room - and locking yourself out.
One of the purposes of the animation screenings is to provoke discussion. We all have different taste, but the first step of building your taste is to watch a variety of the works and think of what works and what does not work for yourself. I have plenty of opinions, which I am more than happy to share with you, but I’d rather hear yours. Really. This is a vital component of this class, and good participation can make this class a memorable experience for all of us.
Unless I tell you otherwise, assigned work must be completed and put in the class desktop folder before class starts. In most cases QuickTimes are the easiest format to deal with. Handing in somethingunfinished is always better than nothing at all. We will view and discuss everyone’s final project during the last class, as well as sharing work throughout the semester.
